The news agency said Wednesday that thousands of Japanese women screamed like teenagers over their heartthrob in a concert in Saitama, Japan, to promote his new film "April Snow".

More than 30,000 fans, mostly women, attended the concert and 6,000 more watched through screens in six different cities.

Bae's appearance in Saitama was his first in Japan since Seoul and Tokyo saw their feud resurface over history and territory.
