'Musical, the Ballad of Seo Dong' was co-produced by Kim Ga-young, Lee Seung-mi, and Yu Soo-min, and Lim Mi-ran. Majoring in animation, all of them are 3rd graders of Sungnam High School, Yeongi, Chungnam. The work is a contemporary version of 'Seo Dong Tale', one of Baekje stories, with their sense of new generation added.
It starts with a love story of a young man named Seo Dong who enjoys skating alone on the frozen Geum River and the princess of Shila, Sun-hwa. Their love is poignant due to class differences. He is a commoner and she is a princess.
Under the theme, 'Nurturing Creative Human Resources through Animation Baekje Tale', Sungnam High School has been finally selected with Yeosu Information Science High School.
