'Producers' sold out globally

It is anticipated that the global community will watch KBS 2TV's weekend drama, "Producers" starring Kim Soo-hyun, Lee Ji-eun, Cha Tae-hyun and Kong Hyo-jin.

According to an official from "Producers" on June 4, "Producers" has complete the sales of copyright and broadcasting right to all the target countries all around the world.

The copyright has been sold to China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong in Asia. Among those countries in Commonwealth of Independent States, its copyright has been sold to Kazakhstan.

It is the same situation in Europe, Middle East and North America. Broadcasting rights capable of internet streaming and digital broadcasting service have been sold to these regions.

'Producer's has raised 3 billion to 4 billion won with the advertising revenue for the duration of 12 episodes in total. It is expected that the sales of copyright and broadcasting rights should be more than the ad revenue. It has been known that the sole revenue raised from the copyright sold to China is close to 4 billion won.

An official from the respective department of KBS said to Star News, "The exact amount of sales in copyright and broadcasting rights is confidential" and "However, I can say it was a good price".
