2NE1 To Make June Comeback

Amidst the many comeback acts that have been hitting the k-pop scene week after week, YG Entertainment announced on May 21st that 2NE1 is also prepping for their return.

According to YG, "2NE1 will be releasing a new Korean album sometime mid-June. Teddy has taken rein as the producer with seven awesome tracks completed as of now. After the new album is released, the group will start their broadcast promotions".

After their last 2nd mini album released July of last year, it's been 11 months since 2NE1's Korean fans have seen a new album from them.
Whether this upcoming release will be a full-length album or a mini-album hasn't been decided yet.

One thing to note though is that after a June-release, the group will be holding a concert in Korea some time in July.
