A Bittersweet Life's copyright was sold by Italia's 'Lucky Red'

DAL_KOM_HAN IN-SAENG (A Bittersweet Life) directed by Kim Jee-woon, which is a topic of conversation as one of 'Feature Films Out of Competition' at the 58th Cannes International Film Festival, was sold by Italia's 'Lucky Red'.

According to a 'Cannes Film Festival' daily newsletter of 'The Screen International', an U.S. cinema special magazine, 'Lucky Red' is an on-the-spot influential cinema distribution firm, which bought a copyright of cinema 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' starring Lee Young-ae as well.

Cinema DAL_KOM_HAN IN-SAENG (A Bittersweet Life)'s synopsis describes that Sunwoo is no ordinary hotel manager. Quick-thinking and efficient, he's also the right hand man of underworld boss Kang.

But tough guy Kang has a weakness: his young girlfriend Heesoo. Suspecting she's unfaithful, jealous Kang orders obedient Sunwoo to take care of the problem. But when Sunwoo finds Heesoo with another man, he is unable to kill them without knowing why.

Kang is furious and swiftly sends his gang members after Sunwoo, plunging him into a living hell. With nerves of steel, Sunwoo battles the gang alone. With each kill, he takes one step closer to Kang.

Italia's 'Lucky Red' is also a cinema distribution firm, which released Korean movie 'Oldboy' in Italia on May 6.
