Actor Park Bo-gum to Begin Mandatory Military Service with Navy Band in August

Actor Park Bo-gum will begin his mandatory military service in August with the Navy's band.

His agency said Thursday, "Park has been accepted to the Navy's band" and "will join it on Aug. 31 to complete his 20-month military service".

"He's currently taking part in one TV series and one film project and will finish them before his enlistment", the agency added.

Park applied to join the Navy's band in May and went through a test and interview to be a piano player in the band.
