Ahn Jae-mo, 'Demoted' from King to Eunuch

Actor Ahn Jae-mo will appear in the upcoming historical drama series 'King and I' which will start airing on the 27th as Eunuch Jung Han Soo.

'King and I' follows the life of Eunuch Cheo Seon, to be played by Oh Man-seok, who serves in the palace from King Moon Jong to King Yeon San.

Ahn Jae-mo's role as Jung Han Soo is a rival of Cheo Seon from the moment they step into the palace. He has the intelligence and talent but because of unnecessary jealousy he constantly causes trouble with Cheo Seon.

Not being able to live as a male, he decides to become the best eunuch of Joseon and does everything possible to become liked by the royal court, but being surpassed by Cheo Seon he admits his loss and reconciles with him.

Ahn Jae-mo also appeared in 'Yong eui noonmul (Dragon's Tears)' also directed by producer Kim Jae-hyeong from 1996~1998 as Prince Sejong. In 'King and the Queen', he played the role of King Yeon San and recently appeared in 'Yeongaesomoon' as the main character's eldest son, always playing a King or one with power.

Ahn Jae-mo commented, "I am excited as the role is completely different from what I am used to. I am studying hard about eunuchs".
