Ahn Jae-wook Gives Concert at Budokan

Singer/actor Ahn Jae-wook gave a concert at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo, drawing some 10,000 fans on November 8.

Ahn, who a few days earlier gave a concert in Osaka, drew great applause at the Budokan from the Japanese audience comprised of various age groups. Ahn debuted in Japan in March this year at the NHK Hall.

Ahn's concert was a combination of TV dramas with music. His album, entitled "My Life Is..". which was released in Japan contains Ahn's hit songs and the original soundtracks of the TV dramas that star the singer.

The audience, the majority of which were women, kept standing throughout the concert, waving their hands and cheering the singer.

At the curtain call, Ahn sang "Forever". He was impressed to see his audience sing the song along with him in Korean. Some people in the audience had even written down the Korean lyrics of the song to sing it along with Ahn. The singer looked overwhelmed by the unexpected enthusiasm of his Japanese fans.

The singer promised to give more concerts next year in more Japanese cities.
