Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism started to work to fight against illegal copyright files.
In order to fight against the illegal copyright files, a commencement ceremony of illegal copyright squad (policemen who deals with illegal copyright issues) was held in Sangam DMC Cultural Contents Center from 2:00 p.m. on 18th.
In this ceremony, there were about 200 participants including copyright special guards, Copyright Protection Center, and guards of Korea Software Copyright Committee. By beginning of opening ceremony of Seoul office of illegal copy right guards, commencement ceremony and performance for copyright protection have been conducted.
In this commencement ceremony, copyright protection ceremonies like B-boy's performance, declaration of hope, and reading back of slogan brought attentions.
In the lobby in the 1st floor of entrance of Cultural Contents Center, there were △ the result of 'Seoul Clean 100 days Project'to exterminate illegal copyright △actual results and statistical record of illegal SW △ regulation of illegal copyright contents and promotion of statistical record like disposal of illegal contents and accusing illegal traders.
This commencement ceremony has been prepared to help set up of environment of clean copyright by showing the will of protection of copyright of government based on effectuation of police of copyright special law. So it will be expected to reinforce the law against the illegal copyrights.
By existence of policemen for copyright, they will co-operate with Copyright Protection Center and SW Report Center for Illegal Copyrights based in 4 offices in Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, and Daejeon to crack down nationwide illegal copyright.
