It's a rainy Tuesday afternoon, and for those of you looking for something to do INDOORS, our arts and culture reporter Michelle Kim has the details on the latest events.
[Reporter : Michelle Kim] Hello, Conn-young
Well, it's pouring outside and all I want to do is watch a fun movie, indoors, with some popcorn and a soda. Do you have any suggestions about a rainy day movie[Reporter : ] How about four options A Korean movie newly released in theaters is sure to make you laugh, although you wouldn't know it from the movie's description.
The movie "Over my Dead Body" is a criminal drama film that depicts three people, each fighting with each other to steal a corpse, all for different reasons.
One of the characters is trying to steal the corpse, another is chasing it, and another actually becomes the corpse.
[Interview : Lee Beom-soo, Actor] "The characters and actors are all very unique, and they have this distinct energy that is hard to dislike or disregard. The audience can feel some sort of attachment to all of the characters in this film".
[Reporter : ed:scott] All of the movies are out in theaters right now so grab your umbrellas, head out to your nearest theater and pick the movie of your choice.
Well, this gives me so many options! I haven't watched the first prequel to the movie "Wrath of the Titans" so I may need to watch the first one before I do. "Over my Dead Body" sounds good though. The storyline seems very unique and the actors are all very talented.
That's great. And moving on, you have more events for us
[Reporter : ] Yes I do. Just in case you may want something else to do indoors other than watching a movie, I have an exhibition at National Museum of Korea that may grab your interest.
An iron cauldron is found at the bottom of a well, overflowing with treasures.
What is going on ?
[Interview : Kim Hyun-hee, Arts and Culture Researcher National Museum of Korea] "The reason why people during the Unified Silla period put ornaments inside caldrons was not to sell the ornaments or use from for ritual formalities. People hid metal crafts in caldrons to hide them before going off on inspections".
The secrets of the Silla period buried underground.
The ancient remains that revealed themselves 12-hundred years later represent the hope and desire of the people during the Silla period.
[Reporter : ed:scott] The exhibiton, "Opening the Time Capsule: Wondrous Expedition to the Past" will be held until May 6th at the National Museum of Korea.
Just by looking at the exhibition you introduced to us yesterday, and this exhibition today, I feel like there are more opportunities to learn about Korean history these days.
[Reporter : ] Yes, definitely. It's not just about reading about history, but also looking at them and learning to actual ancient artifacts and sculptures and pottery made during that time, that can really give the viewers a better understanding of that period.
I think this will be a great learning experience for all people, from young children to adults. And one last thing, you have the events bulletin for us
[Reporter : ] Yes. I have two musicals and a concert for you. Take a look.
[Reporter : ] The events bulletin features three events
