Bae Suzy and Kim Hae-sook's 'Chemistry' in "Start Up"

The new tvN drama "Start Up" is a drama that depicts the beginning (START) and growth (UP) of young people who have started their own businesses dreaming of success in Korea's Silicon Valley sandbox.

Bae Suzy (Seo Dal-mi), Nam Joo-hyuk (Nam Do-san), Kim Sun-ho (Han Ji-pyeong) and Kang Han-na (Won In-jae) complete the line-up and irreplaceable actress Kim Hae-sook (Choi Won-deok) takes place in the center of this abundant story.

Kim Hae-sook's character of Choi Won-deok is a character who makes a living making hot dogs after losing her husband 40 years ago. Her hot dogs are tasty and cheap and but the long line of customers are the result of her heart and sincerity of making eye contact with each of the customers and lending them umbrellas without condition on rainy days.

She is also the grandmother and strong supporter of of Seo Dal-mi. Choi Won-deok stands by her granddaughter who jumps into the start up business, dreaming of a turnover in life.

Known as 'the nation's mother', Kim Hae-sook, a veteran actress, is expected to bring family love and warmth into the screens.

Furthermore, Bae Suzy who plays Seo Dal-mi, said, "Kim Hae-sook and I hit it off from the beginning. Dal-mi becomes a puppy in front of Won-deok. She whines and depends on her strongly. Dal-mi was raised away from her mother and by her grandmother who is everything to her. When we are filming, she is like a friend and a mother when we are filming. I think she feels the same way too because she's always treating me to snacks and giving me advice".

The new tvN drama "Start Up" begins on the 17th at 9PM.
