The so-called 'Bae Yong-joon idol group' will debut at the start of next year.

As the major shareholder of Key East Entertainment, Bae Yong-joon is preparing for an official advancement in the music industry. His plan is after Kim Hyun-joong, who has released his first solo single album already, is to debut a male idol group next year.

A member of his company said, "He has been searching his way to prepare for the music business in various angles. Rather than just officially starting, he will start off slowly and take off".

Key East is bringing up a few rookies for the idol group debut next year.

Key East says, "We have selected the members through auditions in the rookie development department. We plan on selecting more members. However, we haven't made detailed plans about how many there will be and what date to release them".

It looks like Bae Yong-joong will participate eagerly in preparing this group.

In a recent showcase, Kim Hyun-joong said, "Bae Yong-joon has done lots of music studying. While preparing to release my album with Bae Yong-joon under the name of a producer, I got lots of support mentally and materially" hinting indirectly how eager Bae Yong-joon is in the music business.
