Actor Bae Yong-joon will send his autograph to 20 fans as part of an event entitled "A Letter from the BYJ Family".

Bae's agency, BOF, said on May 25 that the actor decided to hold the event to mark the publishing of Korea-Japan postal stamps, and that the event was identical to the one currently being held in Japan.

Twenty fans in Korea and Japan who send Bae a letter in an envelope with a sealed stamp and serial number will be selected to receive a reply personally signed by Bae. The recipients will be selected through a drawing.

BOF said that to ensure fairness, the 20 recipients will be randomly drawn regardless of the content of the letters, and urged the fans to refrain from sending gifts or other items along with the letters.

The letters will be accepted until Aug. 31, and the lucky winners will be announced this coming September.
