Baek Yoon-sik and Go Doo-shim cast for "Guam Heo Jun"

Middle aged actor and actress Baek Yoon-sik and Go Doo-shim will be joining MBC drama "Guam Heo Jun".

Baek Yoon-sik takes on the role of Yoo Eui-tae. Yoo Eui-tae plays a big role in Heo Jun growing up as a noted physician and it was played by Lee Soon-jae in the 1999 drama. Baek said, "Yoo Eui-tae's outstanding medical skills shows respect and love for humans. I decided to join the drama appealed by the power of the character and quality of it".

In the role of Heo Jun's mother Son, is Go Doo-shim. It was played by Jung Hye-sun in 1999. She is looking forward to being in a historical again.

"Guam Heo Jun" is a remake of the greatest drama of all which recorded 63% in 1999 about the writer of 'Dong Eui Bo Gam' Heo Jun and his medical world. The script is written by Choi Wan-gyoo who also wrote the original and is produced by Kim Geun-hong. The main character is played by Kim Joo-hyuk.

"Guam Heo Jun" is a 120 part drama which will be aired at 9PM starting this March.
