Best Supporting Actor Oh Young-soo Celebrates Award

Actor Oh Young-soo (78), who won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Golden Globe Awards in the U.S. for Netflix's "Squid Game", smiled brightly at a celebration party held for him by his colleagues.

Actor Lee Sang-yoon, who is starring in the play "The Last Session" with Oh Young-soo, posted a photo on his Instagram story on the 11th with the message, "Wow, congratulations".

The released photo shows Oh Young-soo holding a cake wearing a pink crown.

It was a surprise party organized by officials to celebrate Oh Young-soo's Golden Globe award. The walls decorated with colorful primary colors and gold are decorated with the phrases 'Congratulations', 'Oh Young Soo', 'Golden Globe Awards' and 'Best Supporting Actor'.

Oh Young-soo's bright smile made the celebration even brighter.

Oh Young-soo won the Best Supporting Actor Award in the TV drama category for his Netflix drama "Squid Game" at the 79th Golden Globe Awards held on the 10th (Korea Standard Time). Oh Young-soo was the first Korean actor to win an acting award at the Golden Globe.
