KBS' hit drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" continued to bake up high TV ratings, dominating the Wednesday and Thursday night primetime lineup for the 11th consecutive week.

Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Bread, Love and Dreams", into its 22nd episode which aired on August 19 scored ratings of 43.7 percent and 44.9 percent on Wednesday night, upholding the top spot on TV charts during the third week of August.

Data released by AGB Media Research indicated that "Bread, Love and Dreams" was no match for the competition as well, bringing in viewership ratings of 41.9 percent on Wednesday and 42.3 percent the following day.

This week's episode focused on how Ma-joon (Joo Won) leaves Oh Doo-yong's (Jang Hang-sun) baking school with a grudge because he failed to make it into the second round of a baking competition. Tak-koo (Yoon Si-yoon) promises to defend Oh Doo-yong's honor when he is in danger of losing his title as the baking master.

New SBS' drama "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho", starring Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi and Shin Min-ah, came in second place with viewership ratings in the 12 to mid-14 percent range on both charts.

MBC's war epic "Road No. 1" continued to trail behind on the primetime lineup with low ratings in the 5 percent mark.
