Byun Yo-han to star in Kim Eun-sook's "Mr. Sunshine"

Actor Byun Yo-han is the main star in "Mr. Sunshine".

He is starring in "Mr. Sunshine" as a character that looks immature and laid back but has a warm heart. This is his first drama with writer Kim Eun-sook and co-stars with Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-ri and Yoo Yeon-seok.

Byun Yo-han debuted in 2011 with a movie and started making a name for himself in "Six Flying Dragons". He then starred in various dramas such as "Six Flying Dragons", "Ex-Girlfriends' Club", "Socialphobia" and more.

"Mr. Sunshine" is based in the 1900s, about members of an army we shouldn't forget about although they haven't been written down in history. The drama is pre-produced and casting has been completed early on.

The four main characters have been completed. Lee Byung-hun takes on the role of a soldier who returns to Joseon that abandoned him in America and became an American soldier. Kim Tae-ri takes on the role of Ko Ae-sin.

"Mr. Sunshine" is a collaboration between writer Kim Eun-sook and director Lee Eung-bok.
