Cha Seung-won, who was hospitalized due to an acute viral infection, went to Hawaii for the shooting of "ATHENA".

During the interview with a cable channel 'Y-STAR', Cha Seung-won said, “I'm really happy to resume the shooting of "ATHENA". My doctor said I have to be careful for one or two weeks but it's ok. I'm back to normal.”

Cha Seung-won also revealed the truth about the rumor, “There is a rumor that I have a cancer, but it is nonsense. I think the only way to prove it is to get back on screen healthily.”

Cha Seung-won finalized his interview by saying, “When people talk about one's disease worse than the actual disease is, people usually live longer. I will think it as the positive interest in me and do my best at work.”

On the other hand, Cha Seung-won quickly went back to Korea on September 9th, due to a high fever and hives.
