Chairman of the late Jang Ja-yeon's management firm gets one year probation

The late Jang Ja-yeon's former boss was given a year probation at the court of appeals.

The Suwon Court of Appeals sentenced former management chairman Kim (42) to a year probation and former manager Yoo (32) to a year's imprisonment along with 2 years of probation and 160 hours of community service.

The justice department said, "Kim still denies and shows no sign of remorse despite the fact that he unfairly beat her up for the reason that she talked behind his back. However, about the claim that he threatened her with text messages saying she wouldn't be able to continue life in this business can't be confirmed so he's not guilty".
