Choi Il-hwa Apologizes for Sexual Harassment, Removed From Film

"Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days" deleted all of actor Choi Il-hwa's scenes and is filming again because he has been accused of sexual abuse. In the meanwhile, a story of when he was unknown as an actor resurfaced.

Choi Il-hwa surrendered himself and apologized for the sexual harassment he committed. However, a victim claimed he raped her and he had to resign from chairman of the National Theater Association of Korea, dramas, films, commercials and from the Sejong University post.

In the past, he mentioned that he was unknown for almost 24 years. He claimed his income was less than a million won and he thanked his wife for never once complaining. He had a lot of passion for acting and when he played the role of a singer, he visited night clubs and such for practice.
