The KBS 2TV weekend drama "My Only One" starred Choi Soo-jong as Kang Soo-il, a man who is devoted to his daughter. Choi Soo-jong described his character best and reinstated his name as 'the nation's actor'.
As the drama went on, Choi Soo-jong's performance fermented and expressed the emotions of his character with such detail, and the emotions were delivered to the viewers as well. His eyes alone showed the joys and sorrows of Kang Soo-il, and his middle-aged romance with Hong-joo (Jin Kyung) played another big part.
Choi Soo-jong said, "First, I would like to thank everyone. I only played a role in a drama called "My Only One" but everyone showed me so much love, and that's how I made it to the end. This is a result of the director, the writers, the actors and the staff behind the cameras. I thank everyone".
"I was Kang Soo-il for 6 months and it's sad I have to let him go. I will be back with something else in the future and become a hard working Choi Soo-jong".
