Actor Choi Soo-jong left for Taiwan on July 3 along with actress Chae Si-ra to promote the KBS series "Emperor of The Sea", in which the two actors star. The series has been airing in Taiwan since July 5 on Star TV.

Choi said he was happy that the series began drawing significant attention in Taiwan even before it went on the air there. During his three-day stay in that country, he will promote the drama and give interviews to the local media.

Numerous fans greeted the actor at the airport when he arrived, asking for his autograph and creating a commotion, and the Taiwanese media reported his visit as headline news.
