Chosun Ilbo's N.Korea Film Wins Documentary Prize

"On The Border", a documentary on North Korean refugees produced by the Chosun Ilbo, has won the grand prix of Camera Obscura, the fifth International Festival of TV Reportage in Poland. The Art-House Foundation of Poland, the festival organizer, last Saturday selected "Korea: Out of the North", which was aired by the BBC, as the winner of the Ryszard Kapuscinski's Award, the grand prize of the event. The foundation gave the prize to BBC reporter Olenka Frenkiel and Chosun Ilbo reporter Lee Hark-joon.
"Korea: Out of the North" is an English version of "On The Border". The festival has three categories -- social reportage, investigative reportage, and TV documentary.
