Chow Yun-fat to Visit Korea Following 15-Year Absence

Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-Fat, famous in Korea for his performance in "A Better Tomorrow" (1986), will visit Korea for the first time in 15 years.
Chow, 54, will arrive in Korea on Feb. 17 with the cast and crew of the film "Dragonball Evolution" for a two-night stay, said 20th Century Fox. His last visit to Korea was in 1994, on a promotional tour for his movie "Treasure Hunt. "
"Dragonball", which sold over 200 million copies after its first publication in 1984. Accompanying the actor will be director James Wong and costar Justin Chatwin, who plays the role of Goku in the movie, and former Korean singer Joon Park.
The film revolves around the journey of Goku, who searches for Master Roshi and the seven mystical Dragon Balls, competing with the evil Lord Piccolo. It made headlines here when it was announced that Park, a member of the now disbanded group g.o.d., was to appear as Goku's friend Yamcha.
Chow, one of the leading Asian stars in Hollywood and a household name in China, has appeared in various movies, including "Anna and the King" with Jodie Foster, the Academy Award-winning film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End".
"Dragonball Evolution" is slated for release on March. 12.
