'enewsWorld' (enewsworld.com), CJ E&M (CEO Kim Seong Su)'s hallyu entertainment news service, has revealed on May 21 that it will launch the 'KPOP News' mobile application (iOS and Android).

It is expected that the 'KPOP News' app, CJ E&M's first-ever English hallyu news service, will receive positive responses from hallyu fans all over the world through its differentiated content and English language service.

The 'KPOP News' app provides fans with the latest hallyu news about K-Pop, Korean dramas and movies, along with celebrity interviews. It also allows users to view photos and multimedia clips as well.

This application offers users the latest news on Korean entertainment on the main page, and users can see what the hottest issues are on the 'trending' page. The latest celebrity interviews are available on the 'K-Celebs' section, and users can share news with friends through social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The app also makes it easier for users, as they can receive news updates of their favorite stars once they register under the 'My Celebs' section.

The 'KPOP News' app can be downloaded free of charge by anyone through Android market and app stores. CJ E&M also plans on providing Japanese and Chinese news services in the future.

Jeong Tae Wuk, the head of the enews department stated, "We will try hard to communicate with users and hallyu fans all over the world with our user-friendly 'KPOP News' app. We look forward to approaching and appealing to fans by systematically working with CJ E&M's services".
