Cubby the Fox is Selected as the KOFIC Production Support Recipient

2004/11/23 | 234 views | Permalink | Source

Cubby the Fox (Sunwoo Entertainment) directed by Lee Seong-gang is selected as the 2004 KOFIC Long-Animation Production Support Recipient.

Cubby the Fox was highly praised for mysterious and unique characters and background designs. Depth of images and fantastic imagination structure demonstrated on the pilot gave a room for anticipation of artistic and technological development in animation.

Production by Lee Seong-gan, famous for his work with My Beautiful Girl, Mari, animation illustration, family-oriented storyline, and character structure were all counted for in the selection process.

Linear scenario of cliché confrontational structure with light storyline that focuses much on comical elements is judged to obstruct emotional involvement by the audience, however.
