Lee Chang-dong is coming out with a film for the first time in eight years. Stills of that film, "Burning", were released along with American Film Market news by the movie magazine Screen International.

"Burning" is a movie about the mysterious things that occur to Jong-soo, Ben, and Hae-mi.

According to international media, Steven Yeun is in the role of Ben and was a great choice. Yoo Ah-in plays Jong-soo and Jun Jong-seo is Hae-mi.

Director Lee Chang-dong had made comeback attempts previously in the last eight years, but only just succeeded.

"Burning" is distributed by CGV Arthouse and it aims for release next year.
