"Drama Special 2019" Confirms First Broadcast on the 27th

The short drama festival continues this year. The broadcasting time and lineup of "Drama Special 2019", a product by the only Korean broadcasting company that has consistently continued the thread of short dramas, have been confirmed.

KBS officially announced that a total of 10 short dramas starting with "Drama Special - Space House" on the 27th at 11PM will be broadcast on KBS2.

"You will be able to watch new and various types of short dramas only on "Drama Special" every Friday at 11PM".

"Drama Special" has continued the experiment and challenge on the diversity of dramas. It has received attention from fans every year for its meaningful material and original stories that are difficult to handle in typical dramas. Most of all, it is a gateway to new writers, directors, and actors, who make their debut using "Drama Special" as a stepping stone, and are now very active in presenting outstanding works. With the 10 short dramas to be aired this year, we are looking forward to seeing which newcomers can stand out not only to viewers, but also from inside and outside of the broadcasting station.

The first "Drama Special" begins on the 27h at 11PM. "Drama Special - Space House" (writer Lee Kang, PD Lee Hyun-suk-I) considers the meaning of a home, which is the greatest concern of people living in Korea these days. The cast include Lee Joo-young, Han Seung-won, Seo Hyun-chul, Yoon Yoo-sun and Ji Soo-won.

On the 4th of October comes "Drama Special - A Child" (writer Kim Ye-na-II, PD Na Soo-ji), which is about a man who has special dreams and a 12 year old child. Tae Hang-ho, who is able to put on any character that's given to him, and child actress Kim Soo-in take the lead, while the rest of the cast is made up of Kim Ki-cheon, Jin Kyung and Im Hyung-joon.

On the 11th of October comes "Drama Special - Wreck Car" (writer Yoon Ji-hyung, PD Lee Ho-I). A Drama Special - Wreck Car driver coincidentally witnesses a little girl being kidnapped and follows her. This drama is acted out by Lee Tae-sun from "Hotel Del Luna", Kang Ki-doong, Jo Hee-bong, Chang Ryul, Jeon Bae-soo and Yoo Su-bin.

"Drama Special" is aired every Friday at 11PM from the 27th of September.
