Film Festival in Seoul to Offer Feast for the Eyes and Stomach

2019/08/25 | 200 views | Permalink | Source

Seoul will host a food-themed film festival next month. The Seoul International Food Film Festival, in its fifth year, will offer screenings of some 60 food-related films during its run from Sept. 6 to 11.

Opening the festival will be Australian documentary film "Food Fighter", directed by Dan Goldberg, which tells the story of a woman's crusade against food waste.

Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Grostein Andrade's comedy "Abe", which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival in January, will also be screened along with other food-themed films.

The festival will provide a feast to satisfy viewers' eyes and stomachs by letting them sample foods featured in the films they watch.
