The final episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Descendants of the Sun" rated 38.8%.

According to Nielsen Korea, "Descendants of the Sun" increased by 4.0% to 38.8%, setting a new record. However, it wasn't able to surpass 2012 MBC drama "The Sun and the Moon".

The percentage in Seoul was summed up to be 44.2% and 41.6% in the metropolitan area.

MBC "Goodbye, Mr. Black" which was postponed on the 13th due to ballot count, broadcasted two episodes in a row and rated 3.5% and 3.8%, while "Please Come Back, Mister" rated 4.6% and 2.6%.

The final episode of "Descendants of the Sun" showed Captain Yoo (Song Joong-ki) and sergeant Seo (Jin Goo) who were thought to be dead, come back. They miraculously survived thanks to North Korean soldier Ahn Jeong-joon (Ji Seung-hyun).

They reunited with Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo) and lieutenant Yoo (Kim Ji-won). The two couples spent happy times. Captain Yoo and Mo-yeon ended with a kiss and sergeant Seo and lieutenant Yoo were able to be together without opposition.
