First shoot of "King of the Drama" postponed

As the main cast of the upcoming SBS drama "King of the Drama" has been finalized, the drama's production team has scheduled the first shoot on 10 September. However, filming will not take place as scheduled, but is postponed to a later date this month. This was confirmed by by MM Entertainment, management agency of actor Kim Myung-min, who topbills the drama.

Meanwhile, the first official get-together of the drama's key players took place during the initial script reading on 3 September at the SBS Production Centre in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do. The event was attended by Kim Myung-min, Jung Ryeo-won, Choi Si-won, PD Hong Seong-chang, scriptwriter Jang Hang-jun, and other production staff members.

Set in the backdrop of the world of drama production, "King of the Drama" is Kim Myung-min's comeback project in the small screen after 4 years. He will play the role of Anthony Kim, a CEO and well-known figure in the drama production company who has created blockbuster dramas and hallyu stars. Kim Myung-min will be joined by Jung Ryeo-won ("Salaryman" (SBS, 2012)) who will portray the pure and innocent rookie sriptwriter Lee Eun Go and Super Junior's Choi Si-won ("Poseidon" (KBS2, 2011), who will play Kang Min, an arrogant top STAR.

"King of the Drama" will replace Faith every Mondays and Tuesday starting 5 November.
