Actress Go Ara mourned for the Itaewon disaster.
On the 31st, Go Ara said, "I express my deepest condolences. My deepest condolences to the unbelievably terrible situation". She posted a picture of a chrysanthemum with the hashtag #Itaewon disaster.
Last year, Go Ara starred in KBS 2TV drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol". She is currently set to return to the screen with director Park Hoon-jung's new film "Sad Tropics".
On the afternoon of the 29th, a large number of people gathered at the Halloween festival in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, causing a stampede. The government declared a period of national mourning from the 30th to November 5th in the disaster that left 154 people dead.
Accordingly, the entertainment industry and the performing arts industry are participating in the memorial by canceling and delaying various events and schedules.
