Golfer Park In-bee poses with Jeju governor Won Hee-ryong after being named an honorary citizen of the island on Thursday.

Golfer Park In-bee was on Thursday named an honorary resident of Jeju by the island's governor, Won Hee-ryong.

Park has participated in various events and projects to promote the island since 2012.

She has donated a portion of her prize money to charitable causes there and organized tournaments for up-and-coming golfers in the region.
