Top actresses are coming back to the home screens and they are Ha Ji-won, Kim Ha-neul and Shin Min-ah. These famous and talented top actresses are going to present joy and variety to the drama world. Ha Ji-won and Kim Ha-neul have just entered their 40s, and Shin Min-ah is in her mid-30s. Unlike the bubbly characters their 20s and 30s, they come back with new roles this time.

Ha Ji-won in "Chocolate" with Yoon Kye-sang

Ha Ji-won is coming back for the first time in 2 years with the MBC drama "Chocolate" with Yoon Kye-sang.

"Chocolate" is a healing drama between a cold-hearted neurosurgeon Lee Kang (Yoon Kye-sang) and a chef named Moon Cha-yeong (Ha Ji-won) who thaws him.

"Chocolate" is a collaboration between producer Lee Hyeong-min and writer Lee Kyeong-hee who caused the "Sorry, I Love You" syndrome in 2004.

Ha Ji-won plays Moon Cha-yeong, a talented chef from the Italian International Cooking Competition who is nosy about everything. She has a smile like an angel and has positive vibes all around, but can't stand injustice at any time.

Ha Ji-won has been successful with every drama she has played so far so her new role is very anticipated.

Ha Ji-won said, "When I first read the script, I felt Moon Cha-yeong to be a warm character that healed me just by reading about her. I hope the viewers can feel the same".

Kim Ha-neul, the Mellow Master, in "The Wind Blows" with Kam Woo-sung

Kim Ha-neul is coming back for the first time in 3 years. "The Wind Blows" is her first drama since she became a mother.

She plays Soo-jin in the new jTBC drama "The Wind Blows", which begins in May.

"The Wind Blows" is about a man who breaks up with his wife because he has Alzheimer's, but reunites with her 6 years later. Soo-jin and her husband (Kam Woo-sung) engage in heart-aching romance.

Kim Ha-neul proved that she is the queen of mellow dramas through the 2016 SBS drama "Road to the Airport" as a delicate and mature woman who managed to get the message through even without words. "The Wind Blows" is meangingful, because it opens up the second chapter of her career and it's the first drama since she has become a mother. In an interview before she got married, Kim Ha-neul said, "Marriage and acting are different. I think my emotional range would get bigger when I'm married".

Shin Min-ah who is currently in a relationship with Kim Woo-bin, who is suffering from nasopharyngeal carcinoma, is coming back with the new jTBC drama "Chief of Staff".

"Chief of Staff" is the survival story of Jang Tae-joon (Lee Jung-jae), an aide amidst the political gamble and fight for power.

The lovely and warm image of Shin Min-ah takes on the role of Kang Seon-yeong, a first-term proportional representative and party spokesperson. She plays a professional character who makes her own fate with her own beliefs.

"Chief of Staff" is produced by Kwak Jeong-hwan and written by Lee Dae-il and it begins at the end of May.
