"Haemoo" and "Memories of Murder" come together

Bong Joon-ho and Sim Seong-bo have reunited as producer and director of the movie "Haemoo".

"Haemoo" is about six crewmen of a ship smuggling people getting tangled in an uncontrollable situation.

Scriptwriter Sim Seong-bo created a syndrome with the movie "Memories of Murder" which recorded 5 million audiences. His debuting movie should is expected to be full of excitement for a rookie director.

Producer of "Haemoo" Bong Joon-ho claims that making the film was mandatory because script was too good. He said he was happy to work with the creator of "Memories of Murder".

Bong Joon-ho added, "If it wasn't for Sim Seong-bo, it would've been hard to complete the scenario. He has a talent for leading a story".

Sim Seong-bo said, "Bong Joon-ho and I discuss many things when we are working together. We did so in "Memories of Murder" and for "Haemoo", and we plan on sharing many ideas again".

"Haemoo" stars Kim Yun-seok, Park Yoo-chun, Han Ye-ri, Moon Sung-keun, Kim Seong-ho, Lee Hee-joon and others. To be released on the 13th of August.
