Shim Hyung-rae's "D-War" will get a Chinese-made sequel, The Hollywood Reporter reviews "Ktown Cowboys", KOBIZ looks at the evolution of major Korean actors, and a Korean vlogger has six films to get you into Korean cinema.

"Sequel to "D-War", Hollywood-level Sci-fi Film, to Debut Next Year"

Director, comedian, and producer, Shim Hyung-rae announced that there will be a sequel to his debut animated feature, "D-War" (2006), and that it will be produced in China: "With the subtitle "Mysteries of the Dragon", ""D-War: Mysteries of the Dragon" depicts a fictional war between the U.S. and Russia in 1969 as the two countries try to land the first human on the moon".


"'Ktown Cowboys': Film Review"

The Hollywood Reporter reviews Daniel Park's "Ktown Cowboys": "Adapted from Daniel Park's successful web-series by the same title, this ensemble comedic drama maintains a light touch while surveying the challenges of accepting adult responsibilities, meriting attention from niche audiences and Southern California denizens alike".
