Soju, "the world's best-selling spirit", is the first alcoholic drink that should come to mind when thinking about Korea's drinking culture, and K-pop should be first when considering its music. But the latter is also helping to spread the former as audiences get exposed to Korea's favorite drink via the glitz and glamor of the country's thriving music scene: "Everyone wants to go to a tent restaurant and drink soju and eat chicken feet".
