"Blind South Korean Artist Opens First US Exhibit in Baltimore"

Thanks to a grant from the South Korean government, blind balloon artist Goh Hong-Seok was able to have his first U.S. exhibit in Baltimore last year. One of Goh's pieces included an installation piece inspired by the cosmos, with "a massive elephant depicting space and a plodding turtle for time". Commenting on Goh's work, Rebecca Hoffberger, the founder and director of the American Visionary Art Museum where Goh's work was displayed, said that "the transience of the sculpture is part of its beauty, reminding us that life's joys are of the moment".

Such scenes are common wherever street food vendors are found, and Ken has captured three of these misty moments in this short photo series on The Guardian. "Street food in South Korea is cheap, fast and delicious, and available around the clock: everything from spicy rice cakes to savoury pancakes".
