[HanCinema's News] "Carter" Hits Second Place on International Netflix Leaderboard

According to data released by the website Flix Patrol on August 7th, the South Korean action film "Carter" is the second most popular title on Netflix worldwide. "Carter" accumulated an impressive 733 points the previous day, a number only outpaced by one other film, the sentimental American movie Purple Heart with 828 points. "Carter" had premiered in third place on Flix Patrol on August 6th, and is currently seeing a gradual rise in interest from international Netflix subscribers.

"Carter" is popular in a wider number of regions than most South Korean releases on Netflix, topping the Netflix Top 10 for Kenya. Carter was also first place for the Latin American countries of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and Peru. In Asia, "Carter" is the number one film in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. "Carter" premiered on Netflix worldwide this past August 5th.
