[HanCinema's News] "Cheer Up" on Break Yet Again

According to the current SBS schedule, "Cheer Up" will not be airing a new episode on November 22nd. The university romance drama is being preempted by a World Cup game from the D group, where Denmark will play against Tunisia. "Cheer Up" is not the only program being affected by the World Cup on this day. A variety show is also being preempted, and a news broadcast will air later in the day due to another World Cup game from the C group, where Argentina will play against Saudi Arabia.

"Cheer Up" has never been a particularly strong ratings draw from SBS. Its last episode, on November 15th, only had ratings of 2.2%. The high point for the drama was the sixth episode on October 18th with ratings of 3.2%. "Cheer Up" is also already three episodes behind its original schedule. Two episodes were preempted for news coverage of the Itaewon Halloween Disaster, and another one for a baseball game. "Cheer Up" is still expected to run all sixteen of its originally planned episodes.
