On August 2nd a news periodical announced that tvN had only just finished filming of the drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" on July 31st. This is later than expected, given the South Korean drama industry's shift away from the live shooting system. Purportedly, "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" was supposed to have finished shooting much earlier but COVID-19 adjacent safety measures pushed filming back such that the completion was only recently managed.
"It's Okay to Not Be Okay" started airing on June 20th. It stars Kim Soo-hyun as an impoverished caregiver with an autistic brother and Seo Ye-ji as a clinical psychopath who is also a successful children's book author. Over the weekend its thirteenth and fourteenth episodes had ratings of 5.7% and 5.5%. The drama will end on August 9th after sixteen episodes.
