[HanCinema's News] Jang Mi-in-ae Gives Birth to First Child

On October 13th, actress Jang Mi-in-ae posted a photo to her Instagram account of her newborn child. The caption reads, we have become dad and mom. I love you. The news concludes the saga of her pre-marital pregnancy. Jang Mi-in-ae had announced her pregnancy back in May, but had been vague about her wedding plans. This persisted even when she released a wedding photoshoot of herself over the summer with her being visibly, heavily pregnant.

Jang Mi-in-ae's partner is known to be a businessman who's older than her, and purportedly they do still plan to get married, even if the ceremony has not yet happened. Information about Jang Mi-in-ae's personal life has largely been limited to what's been posted on her Instagram account, as she effectively retired from acting back in 2020. While Jang Mi-in-ae does still do some promotional work, she has expressed no intention of returning to screen acting.
Jang Mi-in-ae is thirty-eight years old, and made her debut in 2003. Her best known work is most likely the morning soap opera "TV Novel Bok-hee" from 2011 where she played the title role. Her most recent credit was in "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment" from 2019.
