On October 6th Big Box Entertainment confirmed that actor Jung Hee-tae, who is represented by the talent agency, will appear in "Reborn Rich" on JTBC later this year. The drama stars Song Joong-ki in the leading role as a secretary who is secretly the reincarnated version of the youngest son of the large corporation where he now works. Jung Hee-tae will play Lee Hang-jae, who is the Chief of Staff at the restructuring division of the company.

Jung Hee-tae's character is described as a crucial link between the leading character played by Song Joong-ki and the current leader of the corporate family, who is played by Lee Sung-min. In order to get at the corporation fro his current position, the lead character needs to work through the chief of staff, who is described as the second most powerful person in the corporate structure. The casting news is the first to get into the corporate, rather than familial, end of the story.

Jung Hee-tae principally works in stage productions, and has taken this role following the end of his previous role in the play Masquerade Murder. This is his first television drama since "Artificial City" in 2021. "Reborn Rich" is expected to begin airing on JTBC later this year.
