The lead character Poong, played by Kim Min-jae-I, appears at her home to leave flowers, and is greeted there by Kim Yoon-gyeom. Due to an incident in their past, Kim Yoon-gyeom was greatly estranged from his mother, and was quite cold to Poong, instructing him to never return. However, Poong had been instructed to leave Hal-mang's last bequest to her son. When Kim Yoon-gyeom realized the extent to which his mother cared for him, he broke down emotionally.

The ability of Poong to pierce the initially cold-hearted demeanor of Kim Yoon-gyeom serves to establish his talent for psychiatric breakthroughs. Lee Sang-yi's role was well-received in social media. The special appearance was made possible by his relationship with director Park Won-gook, who directed "Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo" where Lee Sang-yi appeared in 2019. Lee Sang-yi is currently filming "Bloodhounds" which is expected to come out on Netflix later this year.
