On May 28th H&Entertainment released new profile photos of Jung Soo-jung via Instagram to their various followers. The new photos are in a pensive style common for actresses, and likely represent an official shift in career priorities for the popular singer. Following an ensemble performance in "The Player" back in 2018, Jung Soo-jung signed up as the lead for the independent film "More Than Family" back in 2019. Jung Soo-jung played a pregnant college student searching for her birth father in that movie.

The performance was widely acclaimed when released into theaters late last year. But by then Jung Soo-jung had already started work on the upcoming film "Sweet and Sour" which will premiere internationally via Netflix. The change in profile for Jung Soo-jung is likely aimed at least in part at the fact that "Sweet and Sour" will be released in less than a week's time on June 4th.

Nor is this the only upcoming project for the singer turned actress. Jung Soo-jung has also been confirmed for the KBS drama "Police University" which will premiere on KBS this coming July. H&Entertainment has also stopped referring to Jung Soo-jung by her stage name from her musical work with SM Entertainment, and is now using her proper Korean name to make reference to her.
