At the 31st Fantasporto International Film Festival, held in Porto, Portugal, on March 5, there were many prize-winning Korean films. In the Official Competition for Fantasy Films, Seo Young-hee won the Best Actress Award for her role in "Bedevilled", and director Kim Jee-woon received the Director's Award for "I Saw the Devil". In the Official Competition Orient Express section, "I Saw the Devil" also won the award for Best Picture, grabbing two trophies at the festival. "Enemy at the Dead End" also received a special award in the section of Official Competition Orient Express.

Director Im Sang-soo's "The Housemaid - 2010" won the awards for Best Picture, Best Actress (Jeon Do-yeon), and Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae) in the Directors' Week Official Section.

Fantasporto Film Festival, one of Europe's top fantasy film festivals, has much interest in Asia's Fantastic film festival and has encouraged the development of a highly unique genre of movies such as that of "Old Boy" and "A Tale of Two Sisters".
