Heo Sung-tae to Star in "The Silent Sea"

Actor Heo Sung-tae is starring in "The Silent Sea".

According to his agency, Heo Sung-tae has confirmed a role in the Netflix Original drama "The Silent Sea".

"The Silent Sea" is a mystery sci-fi thriller that follows the story of elite scientists who set off for the moon to retrieve some unknown samples from an abandoned research station for the sake of Earth, which has run out of food and water. It is famous for being one of actor Jung Woo-sung's first productions.

Heo Sung-tae is expected to play Kim Jae-seon, a section chief belonging to the space agency in "The Silent Sea".

Starring Bae Doona, Gong Yoo, Lee Joon and now Heo Sung-tae, "The Silent Sea" is expected to be released to viewers in over 190 countries via Netflix.
