Hit Muk-bang Themed Drama "Let's Eat" Returned For Second Season

CJ E&M's hit Muk-bang (eating scene) themed drama "Let's Eat" has returned to the small screen for a second season. Its premiere episode was aired Korea's general entertainment channel tvN on April 6.
Hailed as one of the country's popular cable TV dramas in 2014, "Let's Eat" has propelled the "Muk-bang" (eating scene) TV trend. It is a romantic comedy about a single guy who loves to browse his favorite foods on the blog site called '"Let's Eat"' to relieve stress from work. The show's main characters live alone in studio apartments, and as they get to know their co-workers and neighbors, they gradually learn how to build new relationships through dining. "Let's Eat" inspires viewers to enjoy delicious meals and hunt them down in real life.

The second season features original cast Yoon Doo-joon of K-Pop Idol group Beast as an insurance planner who recently moves to a town called Jochiwon where many government officers reside. Actress Seo Hyun-jin plays a freelance writer who has strong opinions about food and also has bad memories of Yoon with food from their elementary school years.
Producer Park Joon-hwa notes, "This season will feature various characters with diverse backgrounds and jobs. Not only people living alone but also people living with their families will be portrayed. Dining together, they begin to develop harmonious relationships with each other, resonating with people who feel lonely when they alone".
"Let's Eat - Season 2" airs on tvN Mondays and Tuesdays at 11:00 PM (KST).
