Hong Soo-ah cast for "The Great King's Dream"

Hong Soo-ah has been cast for the role of Yeon-hwa in the KBS 1TV drama "The Great King's Dream". She is a character who decides to avenge the death of Kim Yoo-sin (Kim Yu-seok) and Kim Chun-chu (Choi Soo-jong) who betrayed and killed Bi-dam (Choi Cheol-ho) and Bi Hyeong-rang (Jang Dong-jik) who drove her mother Queen Seung-man (Lee Young-ah) from the palace.

She has a dramatic romance with Bob-min (Lee Jong-soo), Kim Chun-chu's son.

Producer Sin Chang-seok claimed, "Hong Soo-ah will be the Chosun version of Juliet".

Hong Soo-ah claims, "I hope to bring out the passion burdened by tragic fate and plaintive sensitivity of Yeon-hwa".

Meanwhile, Hong Soo-ah appears for the first time on the thirty-third episode on the 2nd of February.
