Hyun-a's Latest Music Video Too Racy for TV Censors

The sexy dance moves of 19-year-old Hyun-a, one of the members of girl band 4minute, has caused Korea's TV watchdog to place a partial ban on screenings of the pop video for her latest song, "Bubble Pop".

The Korea Communications Standards Commission recently informed terrestrial TV channels that some of the dance moves contained in the music video are considered too racy for adolescent viewers, putting a brake on efforts to promote it.

The watchdog is now waiting to hear feedback from the producers of K-pop programs of the country's three major broadcasters to make a final decision.

After much deliberation on Thursday afternoon, Hyun-a's management agency Cube Entertainment decided that the singer will no longer perform the song when she appears on TV programs.

"It is impossible to change the choreography at this point", the agency said. "If we take out the problematic moves, it will greatly compromise the feeling of the song".

Instead, Hyun-a has decided to start promoting the next song in the album, "Just Follow Me", from next week.
